Hasiken/hasiken
singer, songwriter, composer
In 1968, I was born in Chichibu city,Saitama prefecture.
My songs and music have some influences of rock, pops and
Shima-uta(traditional Okinawan folk music), including The Beatles,
Rinsyo Kadekaru(Okinawan traditional singer).
In 1993,
I learned Shima-uta from Masao Teruya(Okinawan traditional singer)
in Okinawa.
After that, I deepened exchanges of Okinawa & Amami Oshima’culture,
people and nature.I love them.
Since 2006, I have been being a tourism ambassador of Amami,
because of being evaluated that I’ve been singing
“Waido-bushi”(It is Amami’s song about the Bullfight)
arranged by me in various places.
I composed some score for films several times.
In 2014, I composed the soundtracks of “STILL THE WATER(futatsume no
mado)” directed by Naomi Kawase.
It was selected to the Competition section at Cannes Film Festival 2014.
It released in about 20 countries including France.
I live in Amami Oshima.
